synopsis

During the covid pandemic the twins Guus & Pim spent 8 weeks all alone at their primary school, De Witte Olifant in Amsterdam, because their parents work in healthcare. Their best friend Eli (5 years) is at home with his baby sister who can't do anything yet and his teenage brother and sister with whom he was often not allowed to participate. Guus, Pim and Eli could not see each other and missed each other very much. The days were endless, boredom and loneliness set in. Until one day they were allowed to go back to school. What's it like to see your best friends back in the school yard after all this time?
